Erik Winter PaddlingThe planets are coming into alignment and it looks like we are finally going to get out on the water tomorrow. It's been seven weeks since I was last out and I'm pretty sure I won't remember which end of the kayak is the bow.

We have a warm front moving in through Southern Ontario bring some strong winds and yes, warmth. Right now the water is one or two degrees above freezing but the air is supposed to go up to 8c. That's a whole lot better the terrible -23c we had on Wednesday.

The only problem with surfing in this weather is the instant ice cream headache when you get bowled over. Glad I have a hood on the old Kokatat dry suit.
