Still on the topic of Olympic kayakers, Australian kayaker, Clint Robinson had some valuable memorabilia stolen from his Queensland hotel room while he was training for his sixth Olympic Games.

Thieves broke into his DVDs recording his five previous Olympics which included his gold medal performance at Barcelona in 1992.

Fellow team member Tate Smith had his passport, training watches, a Sony PlayStation, laptop and his wallet stolen when thieves snatched his bag from the room.

So far there are no suspects or leads in the case.
