Eric SurfingI am very excited to announce a new upcoming event taking place here in Ontario this October that I am organizing along with Tim Dyer from White Squall.

The Georgian Bay Storm Gathering is for intermediate/advanced paddlers seeking one last weekend paddling on the Bay before winter sets in. Over the weekend, we'll work through a practical yet informal weekend of sea kayaking with clinics on surfing, rough water group management, bumpy water rescues and rock hopping

The event will take place at Snug Haven Resort which is just outside of Parry Sound. The location is an ideal location as it is right on the water with easy access to both sheltered waters and the open coastline of Georgian Bay.

We have limited the registration to no more then 35 people and spaces are already filling up fast. If you want to participate, you should register quickly. That's not a figure of speech, we have already sold out almost ½ of the available spaces.

You can find more information about the event on the official website, georgianbaystormgathering.com.

Special thanks to Mark Tozer for allowing me to nick the name!
