Canadian Sea Kayaking Photo of the Moment - Rock StarsFriday, 21 January 2011
Here is Paddle Canada Executive Director, Graham Ketcheson and myself keeping it classy and rockin' the house while we are waiting for our surfing clinic to get started.

Looking to become a paddle rock star yourself? 3 tips to get you started:
- Work on your wide leg stance. That's critical when wielding the ax in front of 8 people.
- 1/2 a kayak paddle works better unless you are planning some classic ZZ Top choreography in which longer is always better.
- Go out on a high note. When you are done your solo; never forget to raise your ax over your head while yelling, "Thank You Seattle! There will be no encore!"
David Johnston has been introducing people to the sport of sea kayaking for the past 15 years. He is a senior instructor trainer with Paddle Canada and teaches for several paddling schools in Ontario, Canada. Full Bio.
