The new products will be introduced at the Seattle Boat Show in Seattle, Washington and the Washington Sportsmen Show in Puyallup, Washington.

Building on the success of the flagship 12 foot NuCanoe, the new 10 foot model offers great versatility, stability, and ease of use. Weighing 20lbs less than the NuCanoe 12, it will offer a more practical alternative to solo anglers, hunters, and recreational paddlers.

The rowing outrigger addresses strong consumer interest in rowing the NuCanoe. The unique hull shape, small size, and upright seating of the NuCanoe make it a natural for rowing use. The rowing outrigger provides great rowing performance in a small, stylish, & modular accessory.

"The NuCanoe 10 model will greatly expand the market for the NuCanoe," said Blake Young, Director of Business Development for NuCanoe, Inc. "The NuCanoe 10 will be as easy to carry and transport as other recreational & fishing kayaks, but it provides much greater stability and versatility. The rowing platform adds to the versatility of the NuCanoe, and provides great performance to users who prefer rowing."

The NuCanoe 10 is 10 feet long, 42 inches wide, 16" tall at the bow and stern, and 13" tall at the middle. It drafts 4" and has a weight capacity of 425lbs. The NuCanoe 10 is ideal for solo fishing & waterfowl hunting in rivers, lakes, and saltwater. In the tandem configuration, it is great for recreational and leisure paddling for adults and children.

The rowing outrigger is fabricated out of stainless steel, and is designed to utilize the side handle inserts on the NuCanoe. It can be installed on or removed from any NuCanoe under five minutes. The innovative design allows for both single or tandem use in the flagship NuCanoe 12 and the new NuCanoe 10.

The NuCanoe, designed by Tim Niemier, features an innovative, high-flotation, sealed hull that is virtually unsinkable and provides an optimal balance of tracking, maneuverability, and speed. The NuCanoe's versatility enables single or tandem use, and allows users to choose between canoe paddling, kayak paddling, or trolling with an electric motor. It is ideal for kayak fishing, canoe fishing, duck hunting, leisure paddling, and recreation.

The NuCanoe is manufactured in Bellingham, WA. For more information and details on the 2008 product lineup, see our website at or call us at 888.226.6310.
