The Virginia Sea Kayak Center is now the North American importer and distributor of books by UK publisher Pesda Press. Pesda is the force behind a number of technical and guide books for kayakers and canoeists, including Sea Kayak by Gordon Brown the BCU Canoe and Kayak Handbook, and Kayak Rolling, the Black Art Demystified.

The Virginia company offers wholesale sales to paddlesports shops and independent book stores, as well as online sales for consumers who don't have a Pesda retailer in their area. "Although we sell online, our first preference is always to support your local kayak shop," explained co-owner Tom Noffsinger. "If your local shop doesn't carry the books, have them give us a call."

Pesda Press books are published in the United Kingdom and imported into the United States and feature high quality production and paper. The series of guide books is perfect for anyone contemplating a trip to the UK that involves paddling. For more information about Pesda Press books in the US and Canada, visit the Virginia Sea Kayak Center's web site, http://www.virginiaseakayakcenter.com.

The Virginia Sea Kayak Center is an instruction and retail center in Chesapeake, Virginia, offering ACA instruction, custom coaching and kayak and gear sales.
