Nikki began her career in the paddlesports industry working retail at two of Western Canada's leading specialty retailers, Totem Outdoor Outfitters (Edmonton, AB) and Ocean River Sports (Victoria, BC) before moving to Vancouver, BC to work for North Water Paddlesports Equipment. Nikki was the Sales & Operations Manager at North Water for 8 years before becoming an independent sales rep in 2005. "The opportunity to work for a company who has the quality of products, commitment to women specific paddling apparel and an amazing reputation for customer service made this a line that I believed in. I'm very excited to be a part of the Kokatat sales team".
Mark Scriver has an extensive and varied background in the paddlesports industry. He was a retail buyer for many years for Trailhead based in Ottawa and has been representing paddlesport suppliers in Eastern Canada since 1997. Mark has guided arctic canoe and sea kayak trips for Black Feather Wilderness Adventures since 1983. He was a competitive whitewater freestyle paddler between 1993 & 2005 and has authored several books including instructional books on whitewater open canoeing with Paul Mason, Canoe Camping and Outdoor Cooking.

Kokatat is pleased to announce that Nikki Rekman and Mark Scriver have accepted the position of sales reps for Canada. Nikki will be covering Western Canada including Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan and Mark will be covering Eastern Canada including Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime provinces.
David Johnston has been introducing people to the sport of sea kayaking for the past 15 years. He is a senior instructor trainer with Paddle Canada and teaches for several paddling schools in Ontario, Canada. Full Bio.
