Trade Association of PaddlesportsSeattle, Washington - The Trade Association of Paddlesports is in the middle of its 2007 Board of Directors Elections. 8 candidates are vying for 4 positions at North America’s oldest paddlesports trade association. “We're very pleased with the level of interest and support in our 2007 elections”, states Michael Pardy, Executive Director of TAPS, "These candidates represent a wide range of interests in paddlesports, and will serve to strengthen TAPS with their years of business and industry experience." Election results will be announced in the first week of April.

The candidates are:
  • Landis Arnold – President of Wildwasser Sport USA
  • Mark Kelly - Watersports Buyer for Mountain Equipment Cooperative
  • Scott Adams – Administrator for Paddle Ontario
  • Dan Lingo – Wholesale Manager for Northwest River Supply
  • Casey Gillum – Manager for Canoesport Outfitters
  • Jake Wisse – National Sales Manager for Stohlquist
  • Jim Marsh – Advertising Director for Canoe and Kayak Magazine
  • Jim Moss – Founder of the Outdoor Law Review
